About Me

SAM RUSSELL

Hi there! My name's Sam Russell and I'm a freelance photographer based in the Central West of New South Wales, Australia.
I am experienced in photography areas such as: proposal, engagement, wedding, elopement, family, couples, fashion, food, corporate advertising, headshots, animals, livestock, real estate, events, commercial and fine art.
That said, I have a strong background in photojournalism and documentary photography.

It's hard to pin down a specific genre to specialise in - my passion lays in experiencing all facets of photography.
I am passionate about experimenting with the photography medium and love light painting and astrophotography.
I first established my business in 2016 as a small graphic design business, and have grown since then to include photography, videography, drone skills and web design skills.

I spent three years living on a 7000 acre sheep station and due to my time there I am competent riding quads/side-by-sides/motorbikes on farm properties to keep up with the hustle and action for those candid working shots.
