Featured Proposal & Wedding: Micheal and Kimberly

From “yes” to “I do” — a love story at Mount Lindsay Lookout.
Some weddings stay with you — and this one started long before the aisle. Kimberly and Michael first got in touch when Michael was planning a surprise proposal, and I was lucky enough to be there to capture it. Then came their engagement session, and finally, their wedding — all held at the same place: Mount Lindsay Lookout in Orange, NSW.
Mount Lindsay wasn’t just a stunning backdrop — it’s a meaningful part of their story, so it only felt right that each big moment in their relationship took place in that same special spot.
Getting to witness and photograph their journey from proposal to vows was something I won’t forget. By the time the wedding came around, it didn’t feel like I was just documenting the day; it felt like seeing a story through to the next chapter.
The whole day was relaxed, full of warmth and personality. Kimberly, who describes herself as super shy, joked that she hoped one of the kids would throw a tantrum so she wouldn’t be in the spotlight. But her quiet joy and the connection between her and Michael was undeniable in every moment.
